How can you build my website with $0 upfront build cost?
Instead of charging several thousand dollars before work begins, we spread the cost of design, development, hosting, support and management across a 12-month service agreement. You pay the monthly plan price rather than a large upfront website invoice.
Is the website really custom, or is it just a template?
We use a repeatable professional development framework so projects can be launched efficiently, but the site's layout, content, services, calls to action, branding and SEO structure are customized around your business. The goal is not to give every client the same five-page template.
How long does it take to launch?
Most standard Managed Growth Websites can be launched within 10-15 business days after we receive the information, branding materials and approvals needed to complete the project. Larger or more complex sites may require additional time.
Do I own my domain and website?
Your domain should remain registered in your name from day one. Your business information, logo, photos and content you supply remain yours. After completing the initial 12-month agreement and paying all amounts due, the custom website files created for your project can be transferred to you upon request.
What happens after the first 12 months?
You are not required to sign another long-term agreement. You can continue your current plan month-to-month, change plans, move to the $99/month Website Care option, or request transfer of the website and move it elsewhere.
What if I want to leave before the 12 months are finished?
The initial service term is 12 months because the website is built with no upfront build fee. If you need to leave early, we can provide an early website buyout option based on the remaining commitment and any outstanding balances. The exact terms will be stated in the service agreement.
Does SEO guarantee that I will rank #1 on Google?
No. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels or numbers of leads. Search results depend on competition, location, website history, Google's algorithms and many other factors. We guarantee the work included in your plan and use SEO best practices to improve your site's visibility and opportunities over time.
What is a Growth Sprint?
A Growth Sprint is a focused SEO or conversion improvement completed during the month. Depending on what your business needs, it could involve a new service page, local landing page, Google Business Profile improvements, internal linking, content updates, schema work, citation cleanup or conversion improvements. Local Growth includes one Growth Sprint per month and Growth Pro includes two.
Do you write the website content?
Yes. Core website copy is included in the initial build. We use the information you provide to prepare SEO-informed content for your services and location, then you review it for factual accuracy before launch. Additional content after launch can be added from $50.
What's included in hosting and website management?
Hosting, SSL, routine backups, security, monitoring and normal website maintenance are included in the monthly plans. Minor website updates are also included according to the limits of your plan. Larger expansions, custom development, ecommerce and paid third-party software are quoted separately.
